We have performed energy consulting services for numerous properties across the United States, along with energy benchmarking services here in Chicago. Included in our experience is the benchmarking of the River East Center, a mixed-use property, for compliance with the Chicago Energy Benchmarking Ordinance.
An increasing number of local and federal mandates are creating opportunities to improve our existing building stock. We offer compliance support for energy and sustainability regulations at the federal, state and local levels, such as Chicago’s Energy Benchmarking ordinance, and New York City’s Greener Greater Buildings Plan, which includes LL84, Benchmarking; LL85, NYC Energy Code; LL87, Energy Audits & Retro-Cx; and LL88, Lighting Upgrades & Sub-Metering.
We help project teams implement the findings of energy and sustainability assessments and formulate retrofit plans for calculated energy savings. We research available financial incentives, develop basis-of-design documents and prepare performance specifications to guide projects toward targeted results.
