New! Explore Green Building Case Studies

The Hub has curated a database consisting of green building and energy efficiency case studies prepared by different organizations from across Illinois. You can browse through the database to learn about energy savings, incentives used, ROI and payback periods, and learn more about specific projects. The database is searchable and can be filtered by building type (multifamily, commercial, etc.) and project type (retrofit, new construction, etc.). If there is a case study we should add, let us know.
New on The Building Energy Pod
In the latest episode of The Building Energy Pod, Manny Flores, president and CEO of SomerCor, highlights the role of grants and economic development funds in supporting building upgrades and neighborhood sustainability. Manny addresses the barriers small and medium-sized building owners face in accessing capital for energy efficiency upgrades and emphasizes the need for collaboration among lenders, policymakers, and nonprofits.
