Touchstone IQ has supported commercial and multifamily clients in the Chicago metro area with ENERGY STAR benchmarking and compliance reporting under the City of Chicago’s ordinance. We’ve also conducted Data Verification as well as ASHRAE Level I and II energy audits to identify cost-saving opportunities and support utility incentive applications. Our team is experienced in working with local utility data and navigating regional compliance requirements.
Touchstone IQ’s team is highly qualified to conduct benchmarking and data verification services, with extensive experience supporting compliance efforts for ENERGY STAR Benchmarking Ordinances and Building Performance Standards nationwide. Our staff has completed formal training on the use of EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, and regularly performs benchmarking for commercial, multifamily, and institutional buildings in compliance with local and state mandates. We also have PE's who have delivered hundreds of ASHRAE audits.

While we do not implement the improvements directly, our team delivers detailed recommendations based on benchmarking data and ASHRAE Level I and II audits to guide cost-effective upgrades.
